What is EFT?

EFT is a method that combines talking about a problem and tapping on meridian points to bring about different, more comfortable feelings about it.

 

Here I demonstrate a very basic EFT tapping sequence.

An emotional, needle-free version of acupuncture, EFT requires the user to tap on certain meridian points with the fingertips.  Developed by Gary Craig, EFT is based on new discoveries that recognize the connection between the body’s subtle energies, emotions, and well-being.

Since emotional stress can contribute to discomfort, EFT often provides astonishing relief.

What can I expect from an EFT session?

During an EFT session, the facilitator will guide you in talking about a problem or issue. While you talk, you will tap the acupoints.  You can watch me demonstrating how to tap here.  This simple procedure produces helps us feel better quickly.

Why do we need to deal with emotions?

E-motions are energy in motion.  Energy is the invisible foundation for health in the body.  The body is composed of energy pathways and energy centers that are in a dynamic interplay with the cells, organs, moods, and thoughts.

When we shift these energies using homeopathic remedies or meridian stimulation techniques, we influence our health, emotions, and state of mind.

What are acupoints or meridian points?

Acupoints are areas of the skin which have a high concentration of receptors sensitive to mechanical stimulation.  These areas have significantly lower electrical resistance than other areas of the skin and can be activated by tapping, massaging and holding.

Why do I need EFT?

Focusing on memories without changing the energies they evokes can perpetuate rather than resolve the emotional problem.  We use EFT to bring an energetic disturbance to the surface and to heal it.

What is the purpose of EFT in our plan for harmony and well-being?

EFT will be used to address these issues:
